Galliano Sour cocktail

What defines sour cocktails?

Sour cocktails are a type of cocktail that typically include a base spirit, lemon or lime juice, and a sweetener. The term “sour” refers to the tartness of the citrus juice used in the drink, which is balanced by the sweetness of the sugar or syrup. Sour cocktails are popular because they are refreshing, easy to drink, and can be customized to suit a variety of tastes. They are also versatile and can be made with a wide range of spirits.

Popular sour cocktails

There are several sour cocktails that are popular and enjoyed by many. The most famous examples are for example a margarita, whiskey sour, a cosmopolitan or a daiquiri. One thing that all of these cocktails have in common is that they all include lemon or lime juice, hence the sour taste experience. These cocktails are just a few examples, but there are many other sour cocktails to explore and enjoy, like the Vanilla Sour cocktail created by Galliano.
